The Texas Rising Star program is a "voluntary, quality-based childcare rating system of childcare providers participating in the Texas Workforce Commision's subsidized childcare program". Childcare providers that voluntarily achieve TRS provider certification, offering quality care that exceeds the state's Minimum Childcare Licensing Standards.
